Today I am posting MATLAB Implementation of Recognition of Osteoporosis of Bone through CT images. This project is based on biomedical image processing. Osteoporosis is a progressive bone disease that's characterized by a decrease in bone mass and density and that leads to an increased risk of fracture. In osteoporosis, the bone mineral density (BMD) is reduced, bone micro architecture deteriorates, and the amount of variety of proteins in bone are altered.

Now a days Biomedical Image Processing gains much importance in the field of Digital Image Processing.  Red Blood Corpuscles are the major cellular component of human blood which are responsible for gaseous exchange between living cells and the external environment. In normal physiological conditions, and RBC is circular in front view and bi-concave inside view. In terms of size, it is 7.5 μm in diameter and 2 μm in thickness. This normal morphology of RBC undergoes specific changes as a consequence of different pathological abnormalities.

Cervical cancer is found in women. Cervical cancer is the type of cancer that occurs in the cells of cervix. In the medical field, there are various tests that can be used to diagnose cervical cancer. One of the test that the doctor used to detect cervical cancer is pap test.
